Information About Us
www.hostingeye.co.uk is a site operated by HostingEye Limited ("we", "us" and "our"). We are registered in England and Wales under company number 07334525 and have our registered office at HostingEye Ltd, 3 Stirling Road, London, SW99EF.
Website Hosting Terms & Conditions
Maintenance – we reserve the right to temporarily suspend access to server to perform necessary maintenance, upgrades or replacements to our servers and infrastructure. This will last no more than 4 hours and we will endeavour to e-mail the user 24 hours before this maintenance window.
Spamming - Spamming (sending unsolicited commercial or bulk emails) through our hosting service is strictly disallowed and forbidden.
We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate any site that is linked to from a spam e-mail whether the e-mail was sent via our hosting service or elsewhere.
To protect our servers and other customers we may impose limits on the number of emails sent within a particular time frame from our servers.
Allowed Content - We do not allow storage and/or display of the following material on our hosting services. This includes uploading to web sites, or transmitting by any material (by e-mail, uploading, posting or otherwise).
Scripts – scripts that compromise the security of our servers are prohibited and we may, without warning, disable and delete any script that compromises the service we provide.
Backup - It is your responsibility to maintain appropriate and up-to-date back-up copies of any data, information or other material you upload onto your web hosting.
Domain Names
Registering Domain Names - Domain name registrations cannot be cancelled and are not refundable
Nominet Terms & Conditions - by registering a domain name within the .uk Top Level Domain you are subject to the Nominet Registry terms and conditions, which can be found on the Nominet website.
Transferring Domain Names – we charge a £15 administrative fee to transfer a domain name away from HostingEye. This must be paid prior to beginning the transfer process. Domains cannot be transferred if your account has any outstanding invoices.
Billing
We accept payments via Paypal, Bank Transfer or cheque.
All invoices must be paid by the due date provided on the invoice. We reserve the right to automatically levy a £10 GBP fee if payment does not reach us by the due date.
Cancellation & Refunds Policy
Shared Hosting may be cancelled by providing 7 days written notice. Dedicated Hosting requires 30 days written notice. Requests for cancellation should be sent support[at]hostingeye.co.uk.
Any monies paid for our services prior to a cancellation request being submitted are non-refundable. The same applies to any services, where once the service has been started, any fees paid also become non-refundable.
Deletion of Data - If you cancel your Services we will permanently delete any data that you have uploaded to our servers. Prior to cancelling your Services you are strongly advised to make appropriate copies of such data.
Termination & Suspension
If you violate our terms and conditions we may terminate or suspend (temporarily or indefinitely) any services you have with us. In this case no refund will be given for any payments that have been, or are made by you to us.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any or all of your services when:
Following a violation of our terms and conditions, we may levy an administrative investigation charge of £30 GBP per instance.
Liability
HostingEye accepts no liability for any damages your business may suffer. HostingEye makes no warranties of any kind, expressed or implied for services we provide. HostingEye disclaims any warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. This includes loss of data resulting from delays, non-deliveries, wrong delivery, and any and all service interruptions caused by HostingEye, its employees, suppliers, customers or any third party.
